To help you excel on the Petroleum Air Services interview, we have prepared questions that you may very well be asked throughout the course of the interview process. Here are a couple examples to get you thinking.
Tell me something about yourself I do not already know? The question is not about your hobbies or where you grew up, the question is in relation to your soft skills, your past experiences and why you love what you do. If you are in the customer service sector you might want to mention how long you have been in the business and why you love what you do like working along with others and helping clients solve problems.
What was the least enjoyable part of your past job? When they ask this question it’s a polite way of asking why you left. If you bash your former employer or the tasks they demanded from you it will rub off. You will leave your potential new employer thinking “will he have issues with us as well.” Let them know that while you did enjoy the overall job and got along with management, you perhaps found the lack of flexibility (hours, vacation…) or that there was way too much paperwork, which bogged down your productivity.
This test is aimed at applicants for jobs that require the use of Word at its fullest capacity. On this test, you will be asked to perform more complex tasks, such as mail merges, advanced formatting, and using templates and tables. The test contains questions of varying difficulty levels, from basic use to more advanced functions and features.
The test will check your abilities to use the Excel software by completing a range of tasks like spreadsheet or simulation interface. It comes in a basic exam, which includes printing options, and formatting cells and layout; and the advanced level which includes pivot table, macro creation, filtering, and functions and more.
