About JobTestPrep’s Averda & Talent Q-Style Packs

Make sure you top the competition with JobTestPrep's preparation packs before starting the Averda recruitment process. Our comprehensive range of packs will provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need to ace the application, test and interview process no matter the position you are going for.

Talent Q-Style Elements Numerical Test

The Talent Q numerical reasoning test, also known as the Elements numerical, is a graph and table interpretation test, examining the same skills as most other numerical reasoning tests you will come across. The content of the tests is similar to many other numerical reasoning tests found in the assessment market today, however, there are some differences.

Talent Q-Style Elements Logical Test

The Talent Q's Elements Logical test measures logical reasoning, specifically the ability to work flexibly with unfamiliar information and to find solutions. Candidates are given a series of shapes and symbols and are assessed on their ability to recognise the patterns and identify the correct next logical image.

Talent Q-Style Elements Aspects Verbal Logical Test

The Talent Q Aspects verbal reasoning test is designed to examine how well you understand verbal information and use what you have read to come to the right conclusion. In this test you are given a short text to read and asked up to four questions on what you have read in each passage. These questions usually take the form of a statement that you need to choose the correct response to. You may be asked to identify two statements, so always read the question and instructions carefully. This test contains 12 questions in total, and unlike most tests, you are allocated a time limit for each question, rather than for the test as a whole. This means that if the time is up on the question before you have answered, the test will simply move you on to the next question, and you cannot go back to it later in the test. You are given a warning as you get close to the time limit. This test usually takes 10 minutes to complete, out of a total of 13 minutes. The Aspects verbal test is adaptive, meaning that each question you are given relates to how you did on the question before. If you get the question right, the next question will be a little more difficult. Your final score report for this test will reflect the difficulty level of the questions you have answered.

Averda Personality Test

The first question one should ask when taking a Averda personality test is “what are they looking for?” While many erroneously believe that there are no right or wrong answers, the truth is the company is looking for the right personality for the job. Finding the right fit for any given position runs beyond technical skills, your future employer wants to know how you will fit into your work environment. This could include managing stakeholders, solving office work disputes or coping with stress and pressure among other factors and situations.

Averda SJT Test

Situational Judgement Tests (SJT) are psychological assessments where you are presented with hypothetical, yet realistic, scenarios related to the job in which you are applying. SJTs have become a popular tool used by assessment companies, employers, and organizations to evaluate the behavioral and cognitive abilities of candidates when introduced with daily work-related situations.

Why do Some Companies Invite Job Applicants to their Assessment Centres?

Many employers have come to believe that interviewing job candidates does not present them with the full and exact picture of their personalities. Even testing applicants does not always put them in a true light. To increase the precision of their evaluations, many employers have lately started to invite prospective employees to assessment centres, where they take different tests and participate in such activities as group discussions, presentations, role playing, social events, and case studies. The combination of these activities and tests produces a more exact estimation of applicants’ aptitude for a desired position, because involved in so many events at the assessment centre, they can demonstrate more professional traits and more facets of their personalities.
