About Christy PrepPacks™

During the recruitment process, you'll be asked to take a number of different Christy tests. You are asked to complete these tests online. These tests are in general provided by Watson Glaser. To successfully move on to the next stage of the hiring process, utilise JobTestPrep's comprehensive preparation packages to give yourself the best chance of success.


Watson Glaser-Style Tests

The Watson Glaser test is divided into five sections – Inference, recognizing assumptions, deduction, interpretation, and evaluation of arguments. Each section has its own question type that assesses a particular critical thinking ability. The test is verbal, and requires a deep and concise understanding of when and to what extent of certainty can one draw conclusions based on given data; the ability to determine whether certain assumptions have been made in a text, be they true or not; and objectively assessing the validity of arguments, regardless of prejudice or personal experience.

The short version, which is commonly used today, includes 40 questions and takes between 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

Practicing these types of questions before taking the test is critical, because the differences between some of the sections are minute, and because the rules of deduction of the Watson Glaser test are different from other known deduction tests.


Christy Situational Judgement Tests

The scenarios presented on SJTs always ask for a resolution of a given conflict which, although being hypothetical, might very much rely on, or represent, realistic situations that occur in a workplace. You will then be asked to choose a preferred method of action out of a number of possible options. You are encouraged to choose your responses spontaneously, based on intuition; however, analysing the scenarios and choosing responses that highlight your skills will allow you to better present yourself on the test.


Christy Personality Tests

There are different kinds of questions found on personality assessment tests. When given a statement with extreme statements such as "always" and "never," you should answer them with less extreme answers such as "agree" and "not strongly agree." However, there are times during a personality test in which you should choose "strongly agree" or "strongly disagree.

What is Christy SJT?

Situational Judgement Tests (SJT) are psychological assessments where you are presented with hypothetical, yet realistic, scenarios related to the job in which you are applying. SJTs have become a popular tool used by assessment companies, employers, and organizations to evaluate the behavioral and cognitive abilities of candidates when introduced with daily work-related situations.

What is the Christy Telephone Interview?

This is often a preliminary interview. These questions are essentially competency-based questions. The interviewers are looking for you to provide examples of where you have displayed these competencies in the past. The telephone interview has some advantages over a regular interview - you can wear comfortable clothing, and keep your answers written out in front of you, but it can also contain the same pressure as an interview when it comes to answering questions.

What is Christy Hiring Process Like?

Christy hiring processes follow similar patterns for each type of recruitment, but the exercises you will encounter depend on the level you are applying to. There are also some differences at each level between technical recruitment and business roles. You can be requested to interviews, to complete aptitude tests, and to attend an assessment centre.

How can I Succeed Nail Christy Case Study Exercise on Christy Assessment Day?

"Delve into" the case study. Reflect your thoughts as the character you were assigned to, and address the corresponding characters you have been asked to report to.

The test demands time management, prioritisation and distinction between important and peripheral. Case study exercises are usually designed to have more than one 'correct' answer; as long as you logically justify your recommendations and they stand up to questioning by the assessor, then your analysis can be regarded in a positive light.

Don't spend too much time trying to learn the nuances of a particular industry. Focus instead on tackling common challenges faced by most businesses. But don't hesitate to clarify pertinent questions, as listening to clients is just as important as advising them.

Remember, this is a real client case, so you want to establish the needs of the clients before you can give advice! Be confident but not arrogant. When presenting, one must give off the notion that one is speaking with an air of knowledge and authority. However, no one likes it when this turns into over confidence. If this happens, one might end up not listening and missing vital cues from the questioner, and of course clients won't like this either. Even though you are working against the clock, take the time to analyse the situation before attempting to make notes or answer the questions.
