Before starting the interview process, it is important to get a feel for the various stages to best prepare for the following assessments:

  • Screening Call: You will first be contacted by HR to go over your CV and ask you basic questions regarding your professional history and of course salary expectations. It is vital for you to remember everything on your CV.
  • In Person Interview: The Next stage is an in-person interview with a hiring manager. You should expect this interview to take anywhere from a half hour to over in an hour, depending on the position you are applying for. Throughout the interview, you will be asked hypothetical questions, quizzed on your tech knowledge and past work experiences.
  • Online Assessment Tests: Depending on the role you are applying for, you can expect the test to take anywhere up to 6 hours. The test could include logic, verbal, numbers, coding, programming and more. For instance, if you are vying for a senior software developer position you may be asked to conduct a live whiteboard coding test and a 15-hour programming exercise where you will be tasked with correcting difficult errors.
