Prior screening and psychometric testing is advantageous to large corporations like Fletcher Building as it helps to simplify their applicant selection process. To ensure your ability to progress through interviews and assessments at Fletcher Building, you should prepare for each aspect of their hiring procedures.

The different steps in the Fletcher Building hiring process are:

  • Application Process: Select a position or program for which you would like to apply, then upload your cover letter and CV.
  • Phone Interview: Once your documents have been screened by a recruitment consultant and are deemed a match for the position or program, you will be contacted for a phone interview.
  • Psychometric Tests: Depending on the role you have decided to pursue within the company, you may need to face one or more online psychometric evaluations.
  • Face-To-Face Interviews: Your initial face-to-face interview will either be held with a recruitment consultant or with the hiring manager directly. You may need to attend several interviews for the position you have applied to.
  • Assessment Centre: Lasting up to a full day, participants do group and role play exercises, aptitude tests, and interviews. Not all positions or programs will require attending an assessment centre, however, most will still require psychometric testing.
