There are many stages in the HelpAge International recruitment process, including:

  • Application Process: Seeing as HelpAge International does not accept CVs through email you will need to apply for one of their advertised job vacancies directly from the website. You can do so by going to the HelpAge International jobs page and select a position that is most suitable to your qualifications.
  • Phone Screening: Once your application and supporting documents have been screened, you may be invited to participate in an initial phone screening interview.
  • Psychometric Testing: If you have passed the initial phone interview, the recruitment team at HelpAge International may ask you to complete one or more aptitude tests.
  • Assessment Centre: Some of the positions available at HelpAge International will require applicants to participate in an assessment centre prior to their in-person interviews. During an assessment centre you will meet with several other applicants and engage in group activities, additional pre-employment tests, and interviews.
  • Personal Interviews: You in-person interviews are often the final stage prior to receiving a job offer. Your personal interviews will either be held in a one-to-one setting, or in a group/ panel.

The psychometric test or tests that you will face may include assessments for numerical and verbal reasoning, abstract and logical reasoning, situational judgment, and work persona questionnaires.
