COM/AD/107/2026 is a European Commission internal promotion competition - open only to existing Commission staff. It is a generalist competition across multiple departments competing for the same grade. Passing all stages places candidates on a reserve list of 100, from which Commission departments recruit as vacancies arise.

Stage 1
Eligibility Checks & Cognitive Reasoning Assessment (SHL)Adaptive computer-based test covering numerical, inductive, and deductive reasoning. 24 questions, 36 minutes. Pass mark: 60th percentile. Only candidates who pass proceed to stage 2.

It could be more interactive though, to closer match the actual test offered by SHL. But the questions were good!
I much appreciated the package for the interactive part. Though in the simulation, practice questions - were included, thus not making it a real simulation. Also SHL test environment is still different what also plays an important role when one cannot practice under real testing environments.
