The Recruitment Process at Pegatron

The recruitment process can take more than 4 weeks and involves several interviews with different heads of departments as well as several tests. Judging by the requirements they post on their job application, they primarily look for people with the following skills:

The Tests at Pegatron 

The tests in Pegatron vary and depending on the job you are applying for may include the following:

  • A concentration test - Concentration tests are a special type of test designed to assess how well you can focus on a repetitive, routine, but ultimately very important tasks.
  • An Excel test - A basic level Excel assessment test aims to evaluate your abilities to use this software for everyday office tasks - more common for entry level and administrative roles. It will probably include almost no advanced questions such as functions and macros.
  • A numerical test - A numerical reasoning test includes a wide range of aptitude tests, varying from basic arithmetic tests and advanced numerical reasoning tests.
  • A cognitive ability test - it has between 20-50 questions, and it combines various popular cognitive evaluation questions. Such as logic questions, math word problems, verbal syllogisms, spatial reasoning questions, abstract reasoning questions, and more.
  • A simple online IQ test

The Interviews at Pegatron

The interviews are set up by a contracting company, specialising in this sphere. During your interviews, you'll be required to answer show your personal skills as well as technical knowledge. The interviews consist of:

  • A phone interview. This type of interview usually lasts 30 minutes, during which are asked a series of questions. If the phone interview goes well, you'll be invited to a face-to-face interview.
  • Group interviews. These are targeted at multiple candidates simultaneously. The interviewers want to put you in a stressful setting and see how you react.
