Online Application: Applicants can initially choose the career path they would like to take and then search for vacant. The application process can also be done through a campus recruiter or an employee referral.
Telephone Interview: Candidates may be invited for a phone interview with a Recruitment Business Partner. They will be asked more questions about their experience and motivators. In some cases, applicants may be invited to partake in a video interview too.
In-Person Interview: For the next stage, candidates will be usually be invited to more than one interview with a hiring manager and other high-level people related to the position. During the NBN assessment centre day, applicants’ skills and knowledge will be compared to each other.
Tests: Depending on the position candidates apply for, they may need to take an online psychometric NBN test. This assessment is given between the first and second interview.
NBN Assessment Test Process
Aptitude tests may give employers an understanding of candidates’ work style and their abilities to solve problems, draw conclusions, and plan ahead. Certain assessment exams can be completed online or as a written test to prove whether applicants have the required behaviours and skills needed for the job
Evaluated skills involve numerical, verbal, and abstract reasoning abilities. The situational judgement test (SJT) and the personality assessment are used to assess candidates’ constructive and influential character and behavioural traits. These include their ability to remain composed and deal with challenges, as well as their communication skills.
