Our comprehensive range of packs will provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need to ace the application, test and interview process no matter the position you are going for.

Aconex SHL Tests

The Verify Verbal Reasoning Test, contains ten passages, each passage followed by three arguments, a total of 30 arguments. These arguments are either True or False, based on the information in the passage, or that it cannot be determined if they are one of the two, without further information (the Cannot Say option). To answer all the questions, the candidate will have 19 minutes. This verbal reasoning test assesses the candidate's reading comprehension capabilities: logical thinking, verbal deduction, and vocabulary. While taking the tests the candidate will improve all these aspects of verbal reasoning.

The Verify Numerical Reasoning Test evaluates how well applicants draw conclusions and inferences from numerical and statistical data. You will need to demonstrate that you can work with numerical information, if you want to be hired for positions requiring numerical reasoning ability. These positions most often belong to the fields of finance, informational technology, professional services, production, and sales. The test measures job candidates’ numerical reasoning ability by asking them to answer 18 questions grouped in 6 sets. Each group contains 3 questions about certain graphs or charts, answers to which you will need to choose from several options given below the questions. There will be no questions unrelated to graphs or charts. A time limit allowed for the test is 25 minutes, though it is possible to complete the test earlier. You may be required to retake the test, when you are invited to a company’s assessment center.

Aconex Situational Judgement Tests

The Aconex Situational Judgement Test (SJT) presents you with real-life scenarios to find out how you would handle situations you could encounter in your work. Whilst the layout of the test can vary depending on the test provider, typically you would read a description of a situation followed by multiple choice questions. You should select the for you least and most likely reaction out of the options. This test provides your prospective employer with the information to decide if you suit the company’s work environment.

Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

What Skills Do Aconex Verbal Tests Measure?

Verbal reasoning tests examine you on a range of English language skills. These skills can be broken down into the following groups: Vocabulary, Grammar, Comprehension, and Critical Reasoning. Vocabulary assessments test your understanding of the words that are used in your line of work. This is measured through various assessments, such as mixed sentences tests, complete the sentence tests, spelling tests, and more. Grammar tests examine your understanding of English grammar and your ability to recognise good or bad grammar. Grammar is measured through questions that ask you to complete a sentence or identify the correct next sentence in a paragraph.

Comprehension tests are designed to measure your ability to understand written information, analyse it, and interpret what you have read to answer questions. Critical Reasoning tests measure how you analyse the information in front of you. In the context of verbal reasoning tests, critical reasoning tests require that you identify whether a statement is true or false based on the information provided, or whether the information provided is not sufficient enough to come to a conclusion.

How Is the Aconex Personality Test Evaluated?

When completing a personality test it is important you understand the nature of this test. The purpose of this assessment is to establish based on your personality and behavioural style if you will do the job, if you can do the work, and if you would actually fit the position. The questions will target work-related activities such as managing stakeholders, working in groups, complying with regulations, problem-solving, leadership skills, coping with pressure and stress. You should also determine which personality traits are important for Aconex and for your desired position. For example, an HR manager’s scores are supposed to reflect her communication and organizational skills, whereas for a sales position, a competitive and initiative nature is favoured.

What questions do the Aconex's representatives ask in a phone interview?

After you have uploaded your résumé and cover letter onto the (COMPANY’S) website, you will have a phone interview with its Human Resources manager who will ask you questions mostly about your education, working experience, and career goals. You may also discuss the company’s business objectives, your future duties, and benefits you will be given, if you qualify for the position. If your phone interview goes well, you will receive a link to the online test that you need to pass in order to move to the next stage in the hiring process.

When Should I start Preparing for my Aconex SHL Test?

As a rule, you should start preparing yourself for the Aconex SHL as soon as possible. Preparation is key to understanding not only the structure of the test you will need to take during the Aconex recruitment process, but also the appropriate responses to the questions that will be asked.

Why do some companies invite job applicants to their assessment centres?

Many employers have come to believe that interviewing job candidates does not present them with the full and exact picture of their personalities. Even testing applicants does not always put them in a true light. To increase the precision of their evaluations, many employers have lately started to invite prospective employees to assessment centres, where they take different tests and participate in such activities as group discussions, presentations, role playing, social events, and case studies. The combination of these activities and tests produces a more exact estimation of applicants’ aptitude for a desired position, because involved in so many events at the assessment centre, they can demonstrate more professional traits and more facets of their personalities.
