Virgin Atlantic Interview Policy

It is very common to participate in several interviews prior to becoming an employee with Virgin Atlantic. The initial interview or screening interview will most likely be held over the phone with an HR representative. In this interview, you will be asked several questions covering your availability, salary expectations, work experience, etc.

If you happen to pass the initial screening interview, you should be invited to participate in one or several face-to-face interviews which may be held either one-to-one, in a group, or before a panel.

Virgin Atlantic Assessment Centre Proceedings

Many employers have recently decided that it is insufficient just to test and interview their prospective employees because test results and impressions made during interviews are not an altogether reliable method of predicting their future performance at work. More is needed to ascertain that a certain job candidate will make a valuable contribution to a company. At the Assessment Center, job applicants are evaluated more thoroughly: they are asked to make an oral presentation on the topics allotted to them in advance, participate in group discussions, take part in case studies and simulation exercises, and play roles according to scenarios presented to them by assessors.

How Is the Verbal Test Scored?

Scores on the Verbal Reasoning Test are not calculated according to the number of questions answered correctly. Your raw score is not important, therefore. What is important is how well you do on your test comparatively to others, because your final score is calculated against the scores of all applicants who are either competing with you now or already working in positions similar to the one for which you applied. This is not the altogether good news for applicants, since they may lose, even if they get most of the questions right but are still outperformed by other candidates. Because your scores are evaluated relatively to the scores of your competitors, it is risky to come to your pre-employment assessment without practising at home. Avail yourself of a brilliant opportunity to study with JobTestPrep’s resources and outmatch others who are competing with you.

How Are JobTestPrep’s Materials Different from Other Resources Met on Internet?

JobTestPrep always carefully researches on a given company and its hiring process. It aims to create tests most closely approximating to the company’s real tests. So thoughtfully developed, our tests do not only give you a clear idea of the test’s format but also familiarize you with questions that you will be asked on your test. Even if you take the pre-employment test for the first time, you will feel familiar with its questions and will know answers to them, after you have practised with our test simulations and drills. We also often put into our PrepPacks™ additional materials so that you can bring your knowledge of the subject to even higher level. As a testimony to our thoughtful research and dedication to helping people get hired, the majority of applicants who prepared for the examination with our materials receive a job offer.

What Questions Should I Ask My Interviewers?

The importance of asking relevant questions during the interview cannot be overstated. You need to show yourself interested in the company and in your future position. Focus your questions on the employer’s expectations from you and your contribution to the company’s growth and how it will be measured. If you know you may be nervous in the interview and forget some questions you wanted to ask, prepare a list of questions at home. You will look professional and prepared if you refer to them during your interview.
