Imperial Brands Interview Tips

Preparation is key to having a successful series of interviews with Imperial. The first type of interview you will likely need to go through with is the phone interview. This type of interview generally lasts from 10-30 minutes and includes questions regarding your availability, salary expectations, and work history.

If the initial phone interview is successful, you will be invited by Imperial to participate in one or more face-to-face interviews. The face-to-face interviews are either held in a one-on-one setting together with a member of the management team, or in a group/panel with a mix of managers, HR representatives, and potential co-workers.

 

Interview Questions For Thought:

Why is this the right company for you? The biggest mistake you can make is to describe the company. Instead, talk about your values matching the companies and positive career trajectory.

Where is your career in 5 years from now? It would be a good idea when answering this question to stick to the roll in question. Think about what else you can learn and how you can develop your career within the limited confines of the job. For instance, you might want to mention moving from team member to team leader.

What do you think is your greatest achievement? While the answer is of course about your professional achievements, you can start by mentioning “aside from my marriage or children” because that will show a very human side. For the actual answer make it recent and include some of the skill-sets you mentioned in your CV.

Hogan Personality Test

Hogan assessments enable your employer to assess your personality in the workplace. The following assessments predict your potential performance based on your strengths, weaknesses, values and things like cognitive styles and risk of career derailment.

Cut-E Test

The Cut-E tests include verbal and numerical reasoning sections. The numerical reasoning includes 37 questions which need to be answered within 12 minute and tasks you with deciding if a statement is true or false based on relevant chart data or perhaps if there is not enough info to make a determination. The verbal section includes Six texts in separate tabs, from which logical conclusions need to be drawn to answer the questions.
