Heinz-Kraft Talent Q-Style Numerical Test

The Talent Q numerical reasoning test, also known as the Elements numerical, is a graph and table interpretation test, examining the same skills as most other numerical reasoning tests you will come across. The content of the tests is similar to many other numerical reasoning tests found in the assessment market today, however, there are some differences.


Heinz-Kraft Talent Q-Style Verbal Test

Talent Q's Elements Verbal test contains different features than other verbal tests that you may have encountered in the past. The Talent Q Elements verbal reasoning test is designed to assess your ability to understand information in a written form, evaluate arguments based on what you have read, and then answer questions accordingly. The Talent Q Elements verbal test consists of five passages and three multiple-choice questions per passage (15 questions in total). For every question, the time allocated to both read the passage and answer the question is limited – either 60 or 75 seconds per question. This means that the system will move you on to the next question when the time runs out regardless of whether you have answered the question or not. When answering questions, you are presented with a range of possible answers from which to choose. You are usually asked to decide which statement best suits the content of the text. The passages can be quite long and contain an abundance of detailed information covering regulations, finance, or other subjects relevant to the corporate sphere. Unlike other verbal tests, you may occasionally be asked to choose two correct answers. Make sure you read the question carefully as it is always made clear whether you have to make one or two choices; and unlike most verbal tests which have four answer choices, Talent Q has six answer options, making the test more difficult and time consuming. Additionally, Talent Q's elements series is adaptive, meaning that each new question is assigned on the basis of how you performed on the previous question. If you get the question right, the next question will be a little more difficult. Your final score will indicate the difficulty level of the questions you have answered.


Heinz-Kraft Logiks-Style Logical Test

The Talent Q's Elements Logical test measures logical reasoning, specifically the ability to work flexibly with unfamiliar information and to find solutions. Candidates are given a series of shapes and symbols and are assessed on their ability to recognise the patterns and identify the correct next logical image.


Heinz-Kraft Logiks-Style Intermediate Test

The Cubiks Logiks Intermediate level test has three sections —verbal, numerical, and abstract. You have four minutes to complete each of the sections and there are a total of 50 questions in the test.

Cubiks Verbal Reasoning

  • In this section of the test, you have to answer 24 questions in the four minute time frame. Once the four minutes have elapsed, there will be no opportunity to go back. There are three types of questions in this section: The first type is focuses on deductive logical thinking where you are given two statements that agree with each other. Below this there is another statement. You have to decide on the logic of this statement. There are four answer options and you can only select one of them.
  • The second style of question judges your English language ability and you have to work out the opposite of the given word.
  • The third style of question is analogy based where you must identify the relationship that exists between each pair of words and determine which of the additional four-word pairs maintains the same logical relationship.

Numerical Reasoning

  • In this section of the test, you have to answer 16 questions in the four-minute time frame. The different styles of question include: number sequences, numerical questions based on sentences and equation completion.

Abstract Reasoning

  • In this section of the test, there are 10 questions to answer in four minutes. The questions are of a figural series nature. You are presented with a series of five figures, and you must find the correct answer that completes the series. The frames advance from left to right in a certain way. You must try to predict the next shape in the sequence from the options listed.
