Numerical Reasoning Test – This is an online 18-question test that takes 25 minutes to complete. This test is later verified with a shorter version that is taken at the assessment center. It is designed to estimate job candidates’ ability to make decisions or inferences from statistical or numerical data. Questions on the Verify Numerical Reasoning Test are presented in the form of graphs and charts. Only instructions to them are verbally formulated. To answer the test’s questions, you will need to perform calculations and then choose a correct answer among several alternatives. As a rule, the test is offered to applicants vying for the positions in the fields of finance, professional services, production, sales, and information technology.

Verbal Reasoning Test - This CEB SHL-style test, called verbal reasoning test, contains ten passages, each passage followed by three arguments, a total of 30 arguments. These arguments are either True or False, based on the information in the passage, or that it cannot be determined if they are one of the two, without further information (Cannot Say option). To answer all the questions, the candidate will have 19 minutes. This verbal reasoning test assesses the candidate's reading comprehension capabilities: logical thinking, verbal deduction, and vocabulary. While taking the tests the candidate will improve all these aspects of verbal reasoning.

In the SHL CEB Logical or Inductive reasoning test you are presented with a row of figures consisting of arrows, lines, and other shapes that follow a specific set of rules. Sometimes there is one rule governing the relationship between the different shapes, whilst on other occasions there are several rules that you must follow. For example, you may be presented with a matrix of shapes missing a piece and be asked to identify the missing piece from the available options.
