Practise for the Hiring Process at Jewson
The basic steps in the Jewson recruitment process are:
Online Application: Send your CV to the relevant role. Before sending, make sure that your CV is well-written and accurate.
Phone Interview: The HR manager will call and ask about your experience, explain about the job and schedule an onsite interview.
Interview: A meeting with the professional manager.
Tests: A significant one is CEB’s SHL. Other exams may be required as well, depending on the position you applied for.
Assessment Centre: You might be invited for an assessment day. This day is divided into various group tasks, such as presentation, discussion, and acting out different scenarios. Also, you might be asked to take tests, and be interviewed.
SJT: The situational judgment test gives you scenarios and conflicts, and asks you to select the best solution (in your opinion) for each one. The purpose of this test is to evaluate your problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excel: Tests your knowledge and level in Microsoft Excel.
