The REED recruitment process is listed below:

Application: The REED application process requires that applicants upload their updated CV and fill out an application form. Other documents may be required, and candidates can apply through a recruiter as well.

Telephone Interview: Applicants may be called by an HR recruiter for their first interview. A brief phone conversation may ensue, to discuss their background and accomplishments.

In-Person Interview: Next, candidates will be invited to take part in one to two interviews with an HR manager and other employers. Companies aim to understand interviewees’ interests and skills needed for the job.

Assessment Centre: The REED assessment centre takes place over the course of one day. Candidates will be interviewed with a few other applicants and will be asked to perform exercises, presentations, partake in group discussions.

Tests: The psychometric exams include REED pre-employment tests, measuring one’s cognitive abilities and fit for the position. By taking these assessment tests, REED employers are able to decide which candidates they want to hire.

The REED CEB’s SHL Test Process

When preparing for the REED aptitude test process, candidates must properly prepare beforehand in order to feel ready when they are asked to take online or in-person tests. CEB's SHL exams are often used when companies wish to assess one’s numerical, verbal, inductive, and deductive reasoning capabilities. The logical tests measure for logical thinking and decision-making skills, and are often divided into inductive and deductive thinking questions. Learn more about inductive reasoning tests and deductive reasoning test practice here. Verbal reasoning tests evaluate how one answers questions based on written passages. Numerical tests showcase one’s arithmetical solving skills using the data they are given.

Other CEB’s SHL assessments include the Situational Judgement Test (SJT) and the Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32). The first test (SJT) uses one’s answers to evaluate their behavioural tendencies based on how they’ve responded to past work-related challenges. The OPQ32 is a questionnaire which aims to score candidates’ suitability for the career based on their positive character traits. The SJT exam deals with an individual’s replies as a way to anticipate their potential actions in the workplace.
