PepsiCo CEB SHL-Style Numerical Reasoning Online Tests

There are several different types and styles of SHL CEB numerical reasoning tests. They range from the high level graduate/management tests to operational level. Our PrepPacks™ have been created to cover a wide spectrum of questions and test types in order to give you the complete preparation for your upcoming test.

PepsiCo CEB SHL-Style Verbal Reasoning Online Tests

There are various levels of SHL CEB verbal tests. In the operational level of tests you are assessed most typically on your ability to: follow instructions, comprehend verbal passages, show technical understanding, complete sentences, as well as various other verbal related tasks. The skills are assessed on a deeper level in the graduate level tests. In order to understand how to answer the questions it is imperative you learn the skills needed. This can be done through using our specially prepared PrepPacks which give you not only the skills needed to answer the questions correctly but also the understanding of how to complete the entire test in the time allotted.

PepsiCo CEB SHL-Style Inductive Reasoning Logical Online Tests

In this test you are presented with a row of figures consisting of lines, shapes, arrows, etc. You need to identify the underlying pattern of that sequence and choose the figure that would come next in the series from the available options. This type of question is highly prevalent in CEB’s SHL inductive tests, but it is possible (though not probable) to encounter other types of questions as well. For instance, you may be presented with a matrix of shapes missing a piece and be asked to identify the missing piece from the available options.

PepsiCo CEB SHL-Style OPQ32 Online Assessments

The test is comprised of a maximum of 104 questions which measure 32 specific personality characteristics. It is highly complex and is administered on a computer. The candidate is presented with a block of four statements and must choose which of the statements best describes him and which of the statements least describes him. For example: Choose ONE statement that is Most and one that is Least like you:

  • I really like to help others.
  • I work best in teams.
  • I like to get things exactly right.
  • I sustain high levels of energy

PepsiCo Mechanical Aptitude Online Assessments

A mechanical aptitude test is usually administered on a computer or in paper and pencil form. Each question has one correct answer, and there are usually three or four optional answers to choose from. There are usually no more than 40 seconds per question. Most mechanical reasoning and electrical reasoning tests introduce basic concepts of Newtonian mechanics and static and dynamic electricity, the same concepts that are covered in a GCSE level curriculum. However, unlike in GCSE tests, in most cases less calculations are required, and the time allotted to each question is thus much shorter.

PepsiCo Interview Policy

PepsiCo will most likely begin with a screening interview phone call. After seeing that your resume fits the bill, a representative will call you to ask a series of brief background and technical questions to further weed out unwanted candidates. The next stage will usually entail a sit-down face to face interview where you will be asked more in-depth questions on subjects not covered during the initial phone screening or written application. Be ready for curve ball questions and open-ended question that provide your interviewer with more background info. Feel free to ask your own follow up questions to gain clarity and better focus your remarks.

Information for the PepsiCo Assessment Centre

An Assessment Centre offers a more precise method of evaluating potential employees’ suitability for jobs. Employers has long come to conclusion that inviting job applicants to the Assessment Centre for a whole day or two yields more exact understanding of their professionalism and personalities than simply testing or interviewing them. Evaluating applicants during events at the Assessment Centre is more efficient because they are required to do different activities there: to participate in group discussions and role playing, make presentations, take part in social events and case studies, and pass different written tests. Combined, these activities reveal job candidates’ personality and professional aptitude more fully. Among qualities that they bring to light in candidates are analytical thinking, commercial awareness, adaptability, and leadership. For employers, inviting job applicants to the Assessment Centre minimizes the risk of hiring wrong people. Participating in difference activities at the Assessment Centre is not always a pleasant experience, however. Candidates are eliminated at every stage of the event. Not many of them, therefore, arrive to the final interview with a company’s managers that, if they are favorably impressed, may culminate in a job offer.

How is the PepsiCo Situational Judgement Test Structured?

The PepsiCo’s SJT test may come in several formats and it is important for you to be aware of the various possibilities. Some tests are linear based, while others are interactive in nature. So, what’s the difference? The linear format presents a number of questions to each applicant and in the same order, while interactive uses branching, meaning each answer will dictate the next series of questions. Questions and answers will vary from a specific work scenario with one unique solution to possibly multiple issues requiring multiple solutions. While there is no per say right or wrong answer. While there is no right or wrong answer, per say, scores are based on the best and worst alternatives as the tester sees it.
