The AF Group Interview

The AF Group’s hiring process contains several interviews and tests. The first interview that you will be invited to, after you upload your application form on the AF Group’s website, is a phone interview. Be prepared to discuss your education and career goals with a Human Resources manager. If you successfully pass your tests, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview taking place in one of the AF Group’s locations. AF Group Assessment Centre Information

An assessment centre may be the final stage of your application process. The assessment day takes place either at the company campus or at a hired venue. You are evaluated by a series of assessment centre exercises, including both individual and group tasks. These exercises may include an aptitude test, a role-play, a case study, a presentation and an interview. This day gives your prospective employer a rounded profile of your competencies and an insight into your performance in the workplace.


Why Does AF Group Use Aptitude Tests?

AF Group uses a variety of aptitude tests during their application process to assess not only your abilities for the job being offered, but also to evaluate your compatibility and cooperativeness in the workplace. The tests that you have to take are generally multiple choice and scored based on the number of questions you have answered correctly. Your score is then compared to those of other applicants against the average score.

What is the AF Group's Panel Interview?

A panel interview is often a part of the AF Group's face-to-face interview process and usually takes place in one of its locations. A panel interview presupposes an interview with four or five people simultaneously. Usually, you will have a conversation with a HR representative, with managers of several departments, your prospective managers, and team leaders. Questions asked in the panel interview are usually competency-based. But you can also expect situational questions, in answering which you will need to describe a situation where you encountered and successfully solved a problem by taking certain actions. If you apply for a technical position, you may also be asked technical questions aimed to evaluate your professionalism. The panel interview may last up to several hours.

The combination of these activities and tests produces a more exact estimation of applicants’ aptitude for a desired position, because involved in so many events at the assessment centre, they can demonstrate more professional traits and more facets of their personalities.
