Prepare for QIAGEN's Tests

There are several stages in the QIAGEN pre-employment process that all job-seekers for this company should take into consideration. These stages often include:

  • Application Process: To begin the process you will need to select a position directly from the QIAGEN jobs page. From there you will need to create a user account, complete the online application, and upload your relevant documents (cover letter, CV, etc.).
  • Phone Screening: If your application and CV are found to be a suitable match for the position you have applied to, a member from the Human Resources department will likely reach out to you for a phone interview. Phone interviews usually last anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes.
  • Assessment Testing: Most applicants will be required to participate in one or more aptitude/ psychometric tests prior to moving onto the final stages of the recruitment process.
  • Assessment Centre: Not all positions will require an assessment centre. During an assessment centre or assessment day, you will meet with other applicants who have applied for the same position. Assessment centres generally consist of group activities and exercises, presentations, additional testing, as well as in-person interviews.
  • Personal Interviews: Applicants who meet all the requirements for the role being offered up to this point will be invited for in-person interviews. The protocol prior to receiving a job offer is to have at least two ace-to-face interviews.

QIAGEN’s Assessment Tests

To find whether you are the most suitable candidate for the vacancy in their company, QIAGEN will evaluate you based on one or more psychometric assessment tests. These tests range anywhere from numerical and verbal reasoning, abstract reasoning to situational judgement and personality questionnaires. The purpose of the pre-hire test or tests is to measure your skills compared to other applicants and employees who have taken the same assessments in the past.

The test or tests you will take will be dependent upon the role you are pursuing at QIAGEN. Familiarising yourself with the material you will be tested on will give you a major advantage over other applicants. Start practising today to pass your QIAGEN entrance exam and interviews to launch your career.
