The Saville Verbal analysis is an aptitude test designed to assess the ability to evaluate complex written information. The assessment contains a series of single and dual passages followed by 4 questions per passage which need to be answered based on the information presented.

The duration of the tests in reality might differ between employers and application processes; however, the concepts will remain the SAME. Usually the Swift analysis will comprise of 2-4 passages (8-16 questions) while the longer tests will include 7 - 8 passages (28-32 questions).
The test is strictly timed, allowing 3 minutes to answer each passage. which means less than a minute per each question on average.
Those who received an invitation to sit a Saville Verbal Analysis Test belong to one of the following target audiences: Graduates/Professionals/Management Trainees/Managers/Senior Managers.
For these groups, Saville use two test series:
Executive Aptitude: a combination of a Numerical analysis test, Verbal Analysis test and an Abstract Reasoning test.
Analysis aptitude: similar to the above except for a Diagrammatic Reasoning test that replaces the Abstract Reasoning test.
