Poste Italiane Hiring Process

The overall Poste Italiane application process has been positive. Typically, you hear back from the post office within a month. There are three different components to the recruitment process. Below is a more in-depth feel of each one:

  • CV Submission: The first contact through Poste Italiane is equally split. Past applicants have either used an outside job seeking recruiter, gone to the actual facility to hand-in their CVs, or applied online to the main website to apply.
  • Testing: Once you’ve applied for your chosen position, you will be asked to answer a few exams, such as logical reasoning, numerical and verbal. You can begin to practise them on JobTestPrep’s website.
  • Pre-Employment Telephone Screening: It is possible to have a phone conversation to better evaluate if you are suited for the position.
  • A Day on the Job: Poste Italiane understands that even if you pass all tests and interviews with flying colours, you will be different after being hired. Thus, to further assess you, you may be asked to attend part of the day in the workplace to further understand you as an individual.
  • Face-to-Face Interview: If everyone is happy with your work ethics, you will be invited to speak to HR. Here you will be asked basic interview questions and your motives for joining the company. If you do well, you could be asked to speak directly to the manager the same day.
  • Assessment Centre: In some cases, you are asked to attend an assessment centre. Typically, the event lasts a day and allows you to interact with upper management and members of the employee body. This is a great way to see if you are a good fit for the company. Likewise, you will compete with other job seeking candidates with various team building games and scenario role-playing. Furthermore, you can expect to learn more about the company with their presentations.

Poste Italiane Interview Questions

A majority of the interview questions are behavioural based, relying heavily on your past job experiences. Likewise, you will be asked technical questions that portray to the position you are applying for. Below are a few examples:
