GEODIS’ Hiring Process

With their headquarters in France and dozens of locations across the globe, GEODIS is always on the lookout for dedicated and responsible individuals to fill the vacancies in their company. There are many different stages of the GEODIS recruitment process. These stages are detailed below:

  • Application Process: To apply for a position with GEODIS you will need to first make your way to their career opportunities page. There are many different departments you will be able to choose from in order to find a suitable role for your particular skills & qualifications.
  • Phone Interview: Once you have submitted your online application and submitted your CV you may be contacted to participate in an initial phone interview. The phone interview is part of the initial screening process and will be used to further assess whether you are the right fit for the company and role.
  • Pre-Hire tests: After successfully passing the first rounds in the screening process you may need to take one or more pre-employment tests. These tests are used to evaluate your skills and abilities as they pertain to the position being offered.
  • Onsite Interviews: Once you have successfully passed your pre-hire test or tests, you will be invited for one or more face-to-face interviews. These interviews will either be held in a one-on-one format or in a group/ panel setting.

GEODIS Korn Ferry Talent Q Tests

The purpose of psychometric testing during the GEODIS hiring process is to ensure that you have all of the abilities and qualities being sought after for the position you have applied for. The Talent Q assessments come in two levels: Aspects & Elements. Regardless of the level, both the Aspects & Elements Talent Q tests will measure your numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning skills. The Aspects assessment may also include a personality exam.

GEODIS Interview Process

During your GEODIS interviews, you will be asked a variety of questions. These questions will include those which expand upon the information you have provided on your CV as well as behavioural questions. Here are just a few examples of questions you may be asked during this process:

  • Why would you like to work for GEODIS?
  • How will your previous work experience assist you in performing this role?
  • How would you deal with a conflict between yourself and another employee?

When answering behavioural questions we recommend using the STAR interview method.
