IPL Assessment Center!

The Assessment Centre offers a deeper analysis of applicants because it invites them to participate in a large variety of activities, from delivering a presentation in front of their peers to participating in group and simulation exercises and role-playing. To ensure a fair evaluation, assessors will distribute applicants points after each activity. By the end of the assessment event, employers compare their estimation of each applicant and winnow out those who scored lower.

Questions for the Interview

Depending on the position that you are vying for you should try to prepare for as many types of questions as possible. Here are a few, you may be asked during the interview at Lonza.

      • Q: Why are you best for the job?
      • A: You want to mention your strengths as they relate to the position at hand. Highlight your determination, enthusiasm, your ability to quickly adapt and learn and of course strong communication on all levels.
      • Q: What do you think is the hardest part of the job?
      • A: Of course you have to have a complete understanding of the job’s description and be careful, as you do not want to make yourself look weak. For instance, if you are going into sales you might want to talk about bad reaction from clients or if you are going into a hiring position keeping your team fully coordinated.
      • Q: What are your goals.
      • A: Don’t give an answer which is overly ambitious, however, you also cannot sound unenthusiastic . Show your enthusiasm for the position and field of work, while getting across the message that you would like to advance within the company.
