Interview

Interview – The Critical Stage

The job interview is the main element you are likely to face in the recruitment process on your path to a new job or career. When applying for any job you are likely to be interviewed, often by an industrial, occupational or organisational psychologist.

An Interview is a serious matter that should not be taken light-heartedly. A good interview is the door to a significant change in your life. Most people feel very tense before and during a job interview. Even experienced and successful candidates can fail an interview due to stress. Some interviewees are so stressed they become defensive and cynical toward the interviewer. Others withdraw and lose focus and concentration.

Remember!

There is no second chance in an interview. If you are not relaxed, focused and well prepared your chances to succeed are slim.
