Application: Candidates can find job adverts online and can choose from national, regional, or international advertising for ultimate exposure to their academics, researchers and scientists in the Yili network. An application form and CV can be uploaded until the application deadline arrives.
Telephone Interview: An HR representative may initially call candidates over the phone and hold a brief phone conversation to screen out unfitting applicants. During this stage, one is assessed based on their experience and personality.
In-Person Interview: For the following Yili employment process, candidates will be asked to come in for face-to-face interview sessions which may be conducted by a panel of employers or one interviewer.

CEB SHL also includes behavioural assessment tests, such as the Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32) and Situational Judgement Test (SJT). The OPQ32 test displays positive features, leadership abilities, and communication competencies. The SJT presents various scenes in which candidates are asked to choose how they would react in a specific challenging case. The responses they give provide companies with an idea of how they may react in their future job position.
The in-person Yili interview stages may be consistent of behavioural and competency-based questions which use candidates’ answers to evaluate how well they react to certain situations and if they will be the right fit for the vacant job.
