Prepare for every aspect of your application with JobTestPrep
Applying online: You will have to fill in some personal details, send your updated CV and attach a cover letter and wait for a response from the company. Make sure that the CV and the cover letter are of the same style and definitely proof-read it before sending it.
A phone interview: If you pique their interest, the company will contact you by phone. This phone call, or the phone interview, is a screening method to further shorten the list of candidates who will be invited to an interview. The phone interview will focus on your resume, you will be asked some general questions about availability, salary etc.
Assessments: in case of a successful phone interview you will be invited to company premises and asked to participate in several assessments, including Predictive Index Assessment.
Final interview: should you pass your assessment with flying colours, you will be invited to multiple face-to-face interviews with several people, including the recruiter, a representative from HR and several managers. You may be asked to participate in more interviews like group interviews and panel interviews.
The Predictive Index Assessment at TDC
There are several parts to this assessment and they include:
The Predictive Index Learning Indicator (PI Learning Indicator) is given to potential hires to test for skills not easily found on a resume or during an interview. Its purpose is to measure your capacity to learn and adapt in the workplace and your cognitive ability. The test consists of 50 questions which need to be completed within the 12-minute time limit and includes the following topics: Numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.
The Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural Assessment is an untimed evaluation which is used by employers to predict candidates' workplace performance, as it assesses their different behavioural tendencies. The assessment consists of two pages when each of them includes 86 adjectives. It measures four primary characteristics of personality: dominance, extroversion, patience, and formality, as well as some other personality traits.
