Standard Bank CEB SHL-Style Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Inductive Reasoning/Logical Online Tests

In the numerical test, you will find various tables and graphs filled with numerical data, followed by multiple-choice questions. Answering the questions often requires you to show basic math aptitude and to perform calculations involving fractions, percentages, ratios, and conversions. The CEB SHL verbal test will contain questions relating to a series of short passages. Each question will require a speedy evaluation of the veracity of any given statement based on the context of the text. The verbal test is the most common form of the logical reasoning test, Inductive Reasoning/Logica that SHL offers.

These tests are often distributed to candidates applying for graduate, managerial, and executive roles. On this test, you will be presented with a sequence of five objects. Your responsibility is to hand-pick the object that would come next in the series from the five available options (just like in the first example above). The test consists of 24 questions to be solved in 25 minutes. The administering of the test occurs at the beginning of the recruitment process online, along with a range of other CEB SHL-style Verify tests. Upon passing the test, you will be most likely invited to an assessment centre, where you are required to sit an additional, shorter verification test. This test is supervised and is designed to substantiate the integrity of your former results. It is, thus, important that you prepare for both tests.


Standard Bank CEB SHL-Style OPQ32 Online Assessments

The test is comprised of a maximum of 104 questions which measure 32 specific personality characteristics. It is highly complex and is administered by a computer. The candidate is presented with a block of four statements and must choose which of the statements best describes him and which of the statements least describes him. For example: Choose ONE statement that is Most and one that is Least like you:
