Prepare for Sightsavers' Tests

As a nonprofit organisation dedicated to preventing sight loss around the world, Sightsavers is always on the lookout for exceptional individuals to aid them in their journey. Depending on the role you have applied for the steps in the hiring process may include:

  • Application Process: The Sightsavers application must be completed online. To apply you will need to go to their open jobs webpage and select a position.
  • Screening Interview: If the information in your application happens to be a match for the position being offered, a member of the hiring team will be in contact with you for an initial screening interview. This interview will either be held over the phone or via video.
  • Pre-Hire Testing: The assessments that you will be required to take during the recruitment process will be dependent upon the role you have applied for.
  • Assessment Centre: An assessment may not be necessary for every open position in the company. During an assessment centre you will meet with other applicants who have applied for the same role. The assessment centre will often include group activities, role-playing exercises, aptitude tests, and sit-down interviews.
  • Personal Interviews: Your in-person interviews will range from either one-on-one to being held in a group or panel. The number of in-person interviews you will need to pass prior to being offered a job will depend on the position you have applied.

Sightsavers' Assessment Tests

There are many psychometric and abilities tests applicants will need to take and pass prior to being considered for a role with Sightsavers. These tests usually include numerical and verbal reasoning, inductive reasoning, and a personality questionnaire. The purpose of your particular pre-hire exam or exams is to determine your suitability for the company and the position. By practising and familiarising yourself with the material in your pre-employment entrance exam, you will give yourself a major advantage over other candidates who may have applied for the same role.
