The Verbal Reasoning Test

 

This test is designed to measure how well you comprehend written information. Almost every position at Safaricom involves reading written instructions and written texts. Therefore, employers of the company want to ensure that their prospective employees well understand and analyze written data. On the examination, you will be presented with short passages from a text whose gist you will need to understand. On the left side of the text, you will see a list of statements about the passage you have just read.

Your task is to define the truth-value of the given statements based on the information presented in the text. If you consider that the statement is correct in relation to the data appearing in the passage, mark it as “True.” If it runs contrary to what the text says, choose the “False” option. Sometimes, however, there will not be enough information in the text to judge the correctness of a statement. If this is the case, tick the statement off as “Cannot Say.” The Verbal Reasoning Test is a strictly timed test giving you less than a minute to think over each question. Interview Process at Safaricom

The recruitment process at Safaricom has several stages. After you have applied thorough Safaricom career portal, you will need to take one or several online tests. Expect to take the Numerical, Verbal, or Abstract Reasoning Tests. Brush up on your knowledge of network system, because you may also be required to pass the Technical Test where questions will be about scripting and coding, among other things. Sometimes, you may be offered to take these tests not online but on a paper in one of the company’s offices. Expect to be given feedback on your tests within 48 hours.

Good test results guarantee that you will be called for a phone interview. In some cases, you will have a phone interview prior to your online examination; your test, then, will be followed by an in-person interview. On this interview, you will have an opportunity to discuss your education, working experience, and career goals with several managers and the company’s directors. Your panel interview may be followed by another interview with a Human Resources manager. If you are successful, you will need to pass medical examination. Afterwards, you may receive an offer letter.
