The Royal London life insurance company is always on the lookout for the best and brightest individuals to join their team.

  • Application Process: The application process will need to be completed online from the Royal London careers webpage. Once you have selected one of the many available jobs listed on the website, you will be prompted to complete a brief questionnaire and upload your CV.
  • Phone Screening: Once your CV and application have been matched for the role you have applied for, you may be contacted to participate in a phone screening interview. These types of interviews typically last from 10 to 30 minutes.
  • Employment Exam: Regardless of the position you have chosen to apply for, you may be required to take and pass a psychometric assessment test.
  • Assessment Centre: During the assessment centre you will meet with other applicants to participate in a variety of group activities as well as interviews. An assessment centre may not be required for all roles.
  • Personal Interviews: The final stage prior to receiving a job offer will be your face-to-face interviews. Interviews at Royal London will likely be behavioural in nature and will range from being one-on-one to in a group or before a panel.

Royal London Talent Q Assessment Tests

The purpose of aptitude testing during the recruitment process is to ensure that you meet all of the qualifications for the role that is being offered. During the Royal London hiring process, you will likely be required to take and pass assessments provided by Korn Ferry. Your Talent Q/ Korn Ferry assessments will give the recruitment team insight into your potential for success at Royal London.

There are two main sets of Talent Q tests. The higher level is known as Talent Q Elements which is split into are three different sections: verbal, numerical, and logical. In the lower level of tests, known as Talent Q Aspects, logical reasoning will not usually be included. In place of the logical reasoning test will be a checking test as well as the verbal and numerical tests. Regardless of the level of tests that you will be required to take, both the Aspects & Elements assessments will be timed.
