QCS Revelian Test

After conducting much research, JobTestPrep is proud to announce that Queensland Corrective Service’s main test provider is Revelian. Revelian is an Australian psychometric assessment test. Although it is quite popular in Australia, it is not limited to the continent. Many other world-wide companies have used the test’s abilities to analyzing job applicants. QCS Hiring Process

QCS’s recruitment process is broken-down into several parts that can be done in your spare time. Note: the follow is a breakdown is for correction officers. Other jobs in QCS may have a similar hiring process.

  • Online CV Submission: To apply for QCS, go to the prison’s main website. You will be able to upload your CV and answer a few questionnaires.
  • Pre-Employment Testing: If you are given the green light, you will then be sent a link to take abstract, numerical and verbal assessment tests. Each of these tests you can pre-practise here with JobTestPrep. Questions are likely to have a psychometric feel to them. QCS's goal is to not simply test your skills, but also assess your personality.
  • Video Interview: For the next step in the application process, you will be sent a link for a video interview. A video interview is when you record responses during a recorded message. Thus, when you do this, make sure you dress to impress, have a neutral background with proper lighting, are familiar with your microphone and away from loud noises.
  • Assessment Centre: Because of the mass amount of new correction officers that are admitted into the prison, the prison has compiled the in-person assessments to a single day. In this programme, known as the assessment centre, you will remain mainly in group dynamics. Note that your every movement will be logged and critically analyzed, so be on gaurd throughout the day. You can expect team building exercises, group interviews and presentations to further understand what the prison is looking for. Your goal is to show your skills and qualities. Good luck!
  • Last-Minute Checks: The last part of the recruitment process is to take a few take a few test such as a police criminal background check and a physical and medical test. When you reach this stage, QCS will contact you will more information.

QCS Interview Questions

Interview questions by Queensland Corrective Services tend to ask more than what meets the eye. The upper management is not simply assessing your skill-sets, but also looking for answers that cater to the prisoners. Here are a few sample questions:

  • What aspect of the job do you expect to excel in?
  • How do you motivate yourself and others?
  • List your strongest skills.
