PSNI Recruitment Process Guide for Officers and Non-officers

PSNI, or Police Services of Northern Ireland, is responsible for the safety of citizens throughout the region. There are two major sectors of the police staff: police officers and non-officers. Recruitment for both of these departments involves aptitude tests and interviews.

Candidates who wish to become officers with PSNI must complete an application before facing a spelling and grammar test, a police verbal reasoning test, an error checking test and an assessment centre which includes role play exercises, an interview, a written exercise and a medical assessment.
