Types of information collected on the website There are two types of visitors to our website:
- Visitors who browse our website who do not and/or have not made any purchases in the past (referred to as type1).
- Visitors who make or have made purchases on our website (referred to as type2).
Type2 visitors to our website that are willing to use JobTestPrep's paid services are asked to supply certain personal information (e.g. email, name, address and phone number), which is then retained by JobTestPrep. While your individual information is protected as discussed above, JobTestPrep reserves the right to use such individual information to create aggregated, anonymous data about users in order to develop statistics about activity on and visitors to the website. How is my credit card information used when I make a purchase?When you make a purchase, we ask you to provide your credit card information so that we can process your payment. During the ordering process, credit card information is transmitted through JobTestPrep's website to third-party credit card processors and card issuers that must use your information to process your order, namely Paypal and Bluesnap.
What are "cookies" and how do we use them?Cookies are unique identifiers that we transfer to your device to enable our systems to recognise your device. Cookies do not contain information that is, in itself, personally identifying, they merely provide features such as tracking sales performance of our affiliates and partners.
Type1 and Type2 visitors are both subject to cookies use on the JobTestPrep website. In addition to your personal information, when you use our website, we may collect tracking information such as your browser type, the type of operating system you use, the name of your Internet service provider and pages visited on the site.
JobTestPrep gets this information by using technologies (e.g. Google Analytics), including cookies to increase the functionality and user-friendliness of our website and to better tailor our website to your needs. For example, we may want to know how long the average user spends on our website or which pages get the most attention. Information such as this will only be used in aggregate form and does not identify you personally. Other uses include placement of cookies to make the login process more convenient.
Children's Online Privacy Protection ActNo one under the age of 13 should provide any personal information. In general, Job Test Prep does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If in limited circumstances we do knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13, we will do so only with verified parental consent prior to collection. In the event that we learn that we have collected information from a child under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete this information from our database as quickly as possible.
