PAS Cut-E-Style Scales Verbal Reasoning Test

Cut-e's verbal reasoning tests measure understanding and analysis of complex verbal information. Most verbal reasoning tests present one long passage at a time, whereas in this test you are required to handle multiple shorter passages simultaneously. Each passage is displayed in a separate sheet so that only one passage is visible at a given moment. The questions are statements you need to evaluate based on the relevant passage. A statement can be true, false, or the provided information is insufficient to arrive at a firm conclusion. To make that decision, you need not only draw precise conclusions from the text, but also figure out which sheet contains the relevant information for that particular statement. There are 12 minutes to evaluate 49 statements in total, so time is another important factor. Common verbal reasoning practice questions focus on the standard verbal abilities, but they cannot adequately prepare for the other elements included in this test. PAS Cut-E-Style Discovering Rules Test

The cut-e (Aon) Discovering Rules test—also called 'scales ix'—is used to assess non-verbal logical thinking of graduates and apprentices. In each question a series of figures is presented. All figures but one are organised according to a certain rule, and your task is to decipher the rule and identify the odd figure. The test consists of 20 questions to be solved in five minutes. It is important to note that while such odd-one-out tests are relatively common in many assessment companies, cut-e still manage to stand out with a different style. The number of figures in each series, the types of figures and, most importantly, the rules applied each time are different in nature compared with those seen in other companies. Learning this test's style can significantly improve your ability to answer more questions correctly within the time limit, and thus help you get a higher score.


PAS Cut-E-Style scales Numerical Reasoning Test

This cut-e (Aon) test assesses numerical abilities as well as the ability to find your way through a relatively large amount of data in a short period of time. There are six sheets with numerical data represented in graphs and tables. Each question refers to one of the charts and presents a statement based on the information in that chart. The task is to find the relevant chart and determine whether the statement is true or false based on the information, or perhaps there is not enough data to decide either way. The test includes 37 questions which need to be answered within 12 minutes. In order to be ready on test date, it is important not only to rehearse basic maths concepts such as averages and percentages, but also to practise understanding tables and graphs and knowing where to look for the information required to evaluate each statement.
