The Interviews at Panalpina
The first step is almost always a phone interview which could last well over 50 minutes. During this interview you will go over your resume and some general behavioural questions will be asked. Should you be successful in the phone interview you may be required to go through one or several of the following interviews:
3 face-to-face interviews with multiple people which will include the recruiter, the HR manager, the senior vice president or a hiring manager.
A group interview focused on a case study. A case study will be given to the candidates. You will have to go over the case study and provide a solution to the problems presented.
A panel interview. During a panel interview, several interviewers will interview one or several candidates at the same time. The candidates will each be asked several questions from each of the interviewers which they will have to answer.

The Tests at Panalpina
The tests in Panalpina include several general tests like skill tests, relevant to the position in question, a questionnaire, the requirement to write 2 essays about yourself and a personality test. There is also, however, the PI LI test.
The Predictive Index Learning Indicator (PI Learning Indicator), formerly known as Professional Learning Indicator (PLI), is a 12-minute test comprised of 50 questions. The purpose of the PI LI assessment is to measure your cognitive ability or your capacity to learn and adapt in the workplace. The test includes three topics: Numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.
