Preparation for the Lactalis Hiring Process

The Lactalis Group was established in 1933 and is the top cheese producer in the world. They are the European front-runner in the dairy ingredients and foodservice businesses and are committed to transforming dairy in all its forms. They have over 75 000 employees in 85 countries and have many well-known brands, such as GALBANI, PRESIDENT, PARMALAT, LACTEL, BLACK DIAMOND, LA LAITIERE, DUKAT, CELIA, BRIDEL, SANTAL, SALAKIS. Lactalis prides themselves on their employees’ expertise and the high-quality of their products.

The Lactalis recruitment process is outlined below:

Application: Getting started on the application process can be done through filling out a form and uploading one’s CV. When evaluating candidates’ credentials, Lactalis assesses an individual’s previous accomplishments and skills. Other ways to apply can be performed through an employee referral or recruiter.

Telephone Interview: Applicants’ first interview is normally conducted as a short phone conversation. An HR representative may question an individual about their background and goals before scheduling an in-person interview for them.

In-Person Interview: Applicants will be invited to take part in one to two interviews with an HR manager and other managers to confirm their application. Employers seek to understand candidates’ career aspirations, interests for the position, and skills.

Assessment Centre: It is likely that candidates will be invited to take part in the Lactalis assessment centre day. This day occurs onsite with several other applicants. A group may be asked to perform presentations, activities, and partake in group discussions.

Tests: The psychometric testing process includes entrance exams which evaluate one’s cognitive abilities and suitability for the position. Through these assessments, employers determine one’s compatibility for the job.

The Lactalis CEB’s SHL Test Process

The Lactalis test procedure entails various aptitude tests which are usually given out to applicants as online or written tests. CEB's SHL exams evaluate different abilities and are formatted in several ways. Some subjects which are tested are candidates’ numerical, verbal, inductive, and deductive reasoning skills. By measuring each person’s score, employers can find out which candidates possess the aptitude for the job.

The logical exam demands that candidates find the relationship between different images. You can read about types of inductive reasoning tests and deductive reasoning test practice here. The verbal reasoning test requires that candidates formulate responses to the information they are given from written passages. The numerical exam displays graphs and data which applicants are asked to factually solve. Other CEB’s SHL assessments consist of the Situational Judgement Test (SJT) and the Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32). Behavioural tendencies and character traits are evaluated on the OPQ32. The SJT exam measures one’s responses as a means for predicting their future actions in the workplace.
