JobTestPrep’s Kuoni PrepPacks™

JobTestPrep helps you in preparing for Kuoni's recruitment processes. The different preparation packages on this page are designed to offer you an in-depth understanding of the tests you may come to take as part of the Kuoni application process.

Kuoni Numerical Tests

Numerical reasoning tests often assess your mathematical skills that you probably haven’t used in years. Our practice packs include answers and explanations to make sure you are fully prepared for test day. Using our PrepPacks™ gives you a great base in your skill level that will enable you to really get to grips with any type of question that may come up.

Kuoni Verbal Reasoning Tests

Verbal reasoning psychometric tests are among the most common tests applicants face when applying for a new job. Verbal reasoning is the name given to a range of tests that use written texts to measure your ability to understand, analyse, and interpret information.

Kuoni Situational Judgement Tests

Situational Judgement Tests (SJT) are psychological assessments where you are presented with hypothetical, yet realistic, scenarios related to the job in which you are applying. SJTs have become a popular tool used by assessment companies, employers, and organizations to evaluate the behavioural and cognitive abilities of candidates when introduced with daily work-related situations.

Kuoni Personality Tests

Being consistent is very important when taking a personality assessment test. On personality tests, you may be asked similar questions that are worded differently. If you answer these similar questions differently, it will be reflected in your results. For instance, it could appear to assessors as if you did not answer both questions completely honestly, which may result in you not getting the job. However, being consistent is not something you need to focus on, as it is not measured. It is a problem only if you significantly contradict yourself; for example, answering "agree" to "I'm never late" and "I have a tendency to be late to some meeting." At times during the test, you may encounter similar statements but not agree or disagree with all of them; in this case, it is fine to answer differently. For example, answering "agree" to both "I prefer working with people rather than working alone" and "Sometimes, I need some alone time."

Kuoni Microsoft Office Tests

The Microsoft Office assessment is usually comprised of several different tests, but it most commonly involves a Microsoft Excel test accompanied by a Microsoft Word test. Sometimes you will encounter a typing test as well. These tests often come in two different difficulty levels — basic and intermediate-advanced. Each test, regardless of its difficulty level, contains topics involving both fundamental skills as well as more sophisticated ones. What sets these tests apart is the number of questions relating to each level of Microsoft Office skills.

Kuoni Abstract Reasoning Tests

Abstract reasoning tests form a substantial part of intelligence tests, and therefore are very popular among testing companies. They are often called inductive reasoning tests or diagrammatic series tests. In these test, you are asked to identify a missing figure in a matrix or pattern, or alternatively, decide which group of matrices a certain figure best fits into.

Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Improve My Score on Kuoni Verbal Aptitude Tests?

Verbal ability—namely, comprehension, vocabulary, and interpretation—can be improved through practice. Simply taking practice tests and gaining exposure to the types of questions you will experience on the real test can relax you, improve your confidence, and increase your speed and accuracy. However, understanding the underpinning principles of the tests and what you are doing right and wrong will contribute even more to your success. The key elements to keep in mind when preparing for a verbal reasoning test are as follows:

  • Accuracy in answering questions
  • The speed at which you answer (most verbal reasoning tests are time limited)
  • Understanding the passage and how to answer the questions

Do Kuoni Personality Tests Reflect the True Me?

When taking a personality test, your results may not always reflect your true self. You must keep in mind that a job personality test shows your work persona. The test is not about seeing personas that are revealed in family life or other contexts.

How Can I prepare for my Kuoni SJT?

Before taking the test, read about the employer. Companies usually publish an agenda, or highlight in their publications their views of service and sales. Try to find out the competencies that are highly valued by the employer in the position you are applying for.

What Kinds of Questions Will I Find in JobTestPrep's Kuoni PrepPack™?

Ready for a challenge? Our free, full-length test includes 12 questions and has a 30-minute time limit, providing conditions similar to those you can expect on the real exam. Once you have completed the questions, you will receive a printable score report letting you know how many questions you answered correctly and incorrectly. You also have the opportunity to go back to questions you may have missed for review.

What Is the Best Way to Present My Answers in Kuoni Interview?

The best way to present your answers in your interview is with the STAR method: situation, task, action, result. This is the most preferable way of answering questions as it presents your answers in a real life situation which really engages the interviewer.

Why should I Prepare for Kuoni Assessment Tests

Preparing for the test will help you get familiar with the question types on the actual test, will improve your scores, and give you the edge you need to gain the job.

What is Kuoni Hiring Process Like?

Kuoni hiring processes follow similar patterns for each type of recruitment, but the exercises you will encounter depend on the level you are applying to. There are also some differences at each level between technical recruitment and business roles. You can be requested to interviews, to complete aptitude tests, and to attend an assessment centre.

How can I Succeed in Case Study Exercise on Kuoni Assessment Day?

"Delve into" the case study. Reflect your thoughts as the character you were assigned to, and address the corresponding characters you have been asked to report to.

The test demands time management, prioritisation and distinction between important and peripheral. Case study exercises are usually designed to have more than one 'correct' answer; as long as you logically justify your recommendations and they stand up to questioning by the assessor, then your analysis can be regarded in a positive light.

Don't spend too much time trying to learn the nuances of a particular industry. Focus instead on tackling common challenges faced by most businesses. But don't hesitate to clarify pertinent questions, as listening to clients is just as important as advising them.

Remember, this is a real client case, so you want to establish the needs of the clients before you can give advice! Be confident but not arrogant. When presenting, one must give off the notion that one is speaking with an air of knowledge and authority. However, no one likes it when this turns into over confidence. If this happens, one might end up not listening and missing vital cues from the questioner, and of course clients won't like this either. Even though you are working against the clock, take the time to analyse the situation before attempting to make notes or answer the questions.
