JobTestPrep’s Kambi PrepPacks™

Succeeding in the Kambi recruitment process can be a real challenge. With the help of JobTestPrep's preparation packs, you can greatly improve your skills and increase the chances of getting that long-awaited job offer. We offer a variety of different packs to help you succeed in the Kambi recruitment process.

Kambi Talent Q-Style Numerical Tests

Tests your ability at understanding numerical data including tables and figures as well as making deductions and analyses from the data. You may be presented with a table, some accompanying information and a question based on some or all this information; you will have to choose the most appropriate answer from a list of answers. The test consists of 12 questions and there is no overall time limit for the test but rather a time limit for each question: 90 seconds for the first question on each table (or set of tables) and 75 seconds for subsequent questions. The average completion time is 12 minutes

Kambi Talent Q-Style Verbal Tests

Talent Q's Elements Verbal test contains different features than other verbal tests that you may have encountered in the past. The Talent Q Elements verbal reasoning test is designed to assess your ability to understand information in a written form, evaluate arguments based on what you have read, and then answer questions accordingly. The Talent Q Elements verbal test consists of five passages and three multiple-choice questions per passage (15 questions in total). For every question, the time allocated to both read the passage and answer the question is limited – either 60 or 75 seconds per question. This means that the system will move you on to the next question when the time runs out regardless of whether you have answered the question or not.

When answering questions, you are presented with a range of possible answers from which to choose. You are usually asked to decide which statement best suits the content of the text. The passages can be quite long and contain an abundance of detailed information covering regulations, finance, or other subjects relevant to the corporate sphere. Unlike other verbal tests, you may occasionally be asked to choose two correct answers. Make sure you read the question carefully as it is always made clear whether you have to make one or two choices; and unlike most verbal tests which have four answer choices, Talent Q has six answer options, making the test more difficult and time consuming. Additionally, Talent Q's elements series is adaptive, meaning that each new question is assigned on the basis of how you performed on the previous question. If you get the question right, the next question will be a little more difficult. Your final score will indicate the difficulty level of the questions you have answered.

Kambi Talent Q-Style Logical Tests

Talent Q's Elements Logical is a test designed to measure your analytical and logical skills in understanding and manipulating abstract information. It is significantly different from the tests you will expect to see in any interview process. This test is a non-verbal test. It assesses your analytical and logical skills using symbols rather than words or numbers. You are given an incomplete matrix filled with shapes and asked to identify the pattern linking them together in order to choose the missing shape. The shapes are held together by a logic from both left to right and top to bottom. You are assigned 75 seconds for each question, rather than a time limit for the entire test.

When your time has elapsed, the system will move you on to the next question whether you have answered or not. The questions in this test are adaptive, meaning that the system will allocate the next question based on whether you answered the previous question correctly or incorrectly. Questions will get harder the more questions you answer correctly, and your final score report will reflect how many questions you got right at each difficulty level. There is no pass or fail. There is also no high score or low score. Your results will be compared to everyone applying for the position. You will only be measured how well you did relative to your competition.

Kambi Situational Judgement Tests

When answering a question on an SJT, try to imagine yourself at work, and answer the questions accordingly. This is quite important since we all act and react differently inside and out of the workplace. When taking a situational judgment test, you want to answer as your 'work self'—the logical, reasonable, mature version of yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions by Kambi Candidates

How Can I Improve My Score on Kambi Verbal Aptitude Tests?

Verbal ability—namely, comprehension, vocabulary, and interpretation—can be improved through practice. Simply taking practice tests and gaining exposure to the types of questions you will experience on the real test can relax you, improve your confidence, and increase your speed and accuracy. However, understanding the underpinning principles of the tests and what you are doing right and wrong will contribute even more to your success. The key elements to keep in mind when preparing for a verbal reasoning test are as follows:

  • Accuracy in answering questions
  • The speed at which you answer (most verbal reasoning tests are time limited)
  • Understanding the passage and how to answer the questions

What Is a Numerical Reasoning Test?

Numerical reasoning tests usually assess the ability to read, interpret, and analyse numerical data and perform calculations typically involving percentages, ratios, and currency conversions, amongst other operations. Numerical tests are most common in the financial sector, but just about any employer can use them in the graduate recruitment process. They can be given online as a pre-test or as part of the assessment centre.

How Long does Kambi Hiring Process Take?

The hiring process depends on the number of tasks you have to fulfil. Typically, there are hundreds, if not thousands of candidates are applying for the same job. Whilst most of them are filtered out through the use of online tests, that still leaves many who have to go through face to face assessments and interviews. We can make some generalisations though. Online tests and automatic application screening typically takes no more than a week. However, you will only know if you have gotten through to the next stage of the application process once the job posting has been closed. The company will normally take a further month to come up with a shortlist of candidates who should attend interviews and assessment centres. These assessment centres usually take place in the first three months of the year and you get the results typically about a week or two afterwards. We can, therefore, say that the entire process can take up to six months.

What will I Face in Kambi Assessment Centre?

There are a lot of different exercises that you will face during the day. It is therefore really important that you get a good night's sleep if possible. Remember, a relaxed mind is the best mind. Try to be friendly even if you are nervous. It is often the interaction between candidates and workers that convince the assessors that you are the right choice for the job.
