The Numerical Reasoning Test

This test is designed to measure how well you understand and analyze numerical data presented in charts and statistical tables. It also evaluates how well you calculate and perform basic mathematical calculations such as adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying. It is a multiple-choice exam; that is, for each question, you will be given four or five answers to choose from. Usually, only one answer among these given options is right. No calculators will be permitted on the exam. But you will be allowed to use a scrap of paper to write down your calculations on it.

The Mechanical Principle Test

This test is administered to job candidates vying for technical and engineering position at Hyundai. It is administered to measure how well you understand mechanical concepts and operation principles behind them. It also evaluates how you use these concepts to make inferences and deductions. What is required from you is to demonstrate your knowledge across such areas as pressure, gravity, kinetic or potential energy, and energy transformation, among others. There are 36 questions in the Mechanical Principle Test, which you need to answer within 20 minutes. This means that you will have only half a minute to answer each question. To succeed in answering questions quickly and accurately on your test, you need to go through several dry runs of our simulation tests. Study with JobTestPrep’s materials and improve your understanding of mechanical concepts together with your time record.

Hyundai’s Interview Process

Hyundai’s recruitment process is not complicated, though it contains several stages. After you submit your documents, you will be contacted by the company recruiters on the phone. You will be asked general questions about your work experience and professional aspirations. This interview may take up to 30 minutes. If you impress the recruiter, you will be asked to take a test, either Excel, or the Mechanical Principle Test, or the Numerical Principle Test, depending on the position for which you applied. Provided your results on the test are good, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview, which may take the form of a panel. You will meet with Human Resources representatives and your prospective managers who will ask you competency-based and situational questions. Expect also technical questions. There may be several in-person interviews. If Hyundai’s managers think that you can be a good addition to their company, you will receive a job offer.
