About the Hyundai PrepPack™

The numerical reasoning, mechanical principles and personality tests are so constructed that they will sharpen your cognitive abilities, the speed and accuracy of your calculations and your understanding of mechanical concepts and operational principles behind them. You will score high on your examination and will know how to present yourself most favourably in your interview and in the assessment centre. By studying with these outstanding resources, you will have good chances of becoming employed. You may find the following tests to be most useful in your preparation for your upcoming Hyundai pre-employment assessments.

The Numerical Reasoning Test

This Hyundai test is designed to measure how well you understand and analyse numerical data presented in charts and statistical tables. It also evaluates how well you calculate and perform basic mathematical calculations such as adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying. It is a multiple-choice exam; that is, for each question, you will be given four or five answers to choose from. Usually, only one answer among these given options is right. No calculators will be permitted on the exam. However, you will be allowed to use a scrap of paper to write down your calculations on it.

Hyundai Behavioural Assessment

This test evaluates four major characteristics of personality: dominance, extroversion, patience and formality. In addition to these traits, it also assesses your decision-making skills and response level. This pre-employment exam helps your prospective employer predict your performance at work. You can start preparing with the Personality Test Sample questions.

Hyundai Interview Process

The Hyundai hiring process is not complicated, though it contains several stages. After you submit your documents, you will be contacted by the company recruiters on the phone. You will be asked general questions about your work experience and professional aspirations. This interview may take up to 30 minutes. If you impress the recruiter, you will be asked to take a test, either Excel, or the Mechanical Principle Test, or the Numerical Principle Test, depending on the position for which you applied. Provided your results on the test are good, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview, which may take the form of a panel. You will meet with Human Resources representatives and your prospective managers, who will ask you competency-based and situational questions. Expect also technical questions. There may be several in-person interviews. If Hyundai’s managers think that you can be a good addition to their company, you will receive a job offer. To sound confident and clever in your interview, check out the interview preparation materials. They contain questions and tips that will help you sail through your interviews with success and ease.

Hyundai Interview Questions

The list below serves to give you an idea of what Hyundai interview questions to expect. Bear in mind the questions depend on the level and type of position you are applying for.

  • Who was your best and worst boss? What kind of global knowledge would you like to gain?
  • How do you handle urgent requests when your manager is not around?
  • Can you tell me more about your experience? Describe your responsibilities.
  • Why Hyundai? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • How do you see how technology will change in the next 10-20 years?

Hyundai Assessment Centre

Some applicants are invited to participate in an assessment centre day. You will attend this event with other candidates; you will be assessed how well you work alone, or as part of a team. Exercises include role-play, aptitude tests, case studies, e trays and interviews.
