The Hiring Process at Habasit

The hiring process can take 5 weeks and will consist of three face-to-face interviews and a number of tests. Some tests are general, while others are specific to the job you are applying for. The general required skills, as advertised by the company, are as follows:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills

Habasit Interview Preparation

The hiring process at Habasit requires you to participate in several interviews. These include:

  • Phone interviews. Phone interviews are conducted via the telephone and usually last about 30 minutes. The candidate will be asked a series of basic questions like the availability to work, the salary requirements, experience, the reason for the desire to work at the company, duties, and responsibilities etc. If the phone interview is successful, the candidate will be asked to either complete a video interview or meet for a formal in-person interview.
  • You may be required to participate in video interviews. There are two types of video interviews, a live one, and a pre-recorded one. A live video interview involves using Skype, or a similar program. It’s as simple as that. It can take 40-60 minutes to complete. In a pre-recorded video interview, candidates will have to answer given questions, record the answers on video and send them to the interviewer. employers usually send a link to a specific platform where this can be done.
  • A number of face-to-face interviews. Face-to-face (or in-person) interviews. During the face-to-face interviews, you will be interviewed by multiple people. These will include the HR, the head of the department and your direct superior.
  • A group interview. A case interview can also be conducted as a group exercise. Here several candidates are given some briefing materials on a business problem and asked to discuss and agree on a solution. The interviewers normally sit around the exterior of the room as silent observers. They assess candidates' communication and interaction as well as analytical thinking and commercial awareness. Interviewers "red flag" candidates who try to dominate the conversation; consultants work in teams so it's important to be a team player.

The Habasit hiring process requires you to take and pass the Harrison assessments which include the following:

    • Engagement and Retention Assessment – Used for job suitability. The score reports show key issues of engagement and retention. There are eight engagement metric categories that assess key engagement factors for individuals, groups, or the entire organization.
    • Harrison Career Navigator – Offers a personalized interactive online technology that provides predictive insight into career enjoyment and career success. The career system is used by career seekers, career counsellors, schools, and universities for identifying suitable professions and guiding personal development to meet the requirements of different professions.
