The hiring process at FrieslandCampina

  • You will have to fill in some personal details, send your updated CV and attach a cover letter and wait for a response from the company.
  • Should you interest recruiters, you will be contacted by phone for an interview. This is usually a preliminary screening interview with a rather limited questioning. You will be required to go over your resume, tell about your salary requirements, work history, availability and answer some basic behavioural questions. These could last between 15-30 minutes.
  • In case of a successful phone interview, you will be invited to company premises and asked to participate in several assessments, including the cut-e assessment.
  • Should you pass your assessment, you will be invited to multiple face-to-face interviews with several people, including the recruiter, a representative from HR and several managers.

The cut-e Assessment at FrieslandCampina

The cut-e assessment consists of several subcategories:

  • Cut-e's numerical reasoning test measures analysis and evaluation skills of complex numerical information. The questions are all based on tables and graphs shown in six separate sheets of data. Each question is a statement that can be true according to the data, false, or the information is insufficient to decide. There are only 12 minutes to answer 37 questions in total.
  • The cut-e verbal reasoning test assesses verbal skills as well as the ability to make your way through a relatively large amount of text in a very short time. Six texts are given in separate tabs, from which logical conclusions need to be drawn to answer the questions. Each question is a statement that can be true according to the data, false, or the information is insufficient to decide. The test includes 49 questions, and the time limit is 12 minutes. This format presents unique challenges as this test is about more than just understanding written information.
  • Cut-e (Aon)'s scales ix test focuses on the candidate's ability to recognize patterns. The test is based on figural, non-verbal content. A different series of nine shapes are given in each question. There is a pattern that is common to all of the shapes but one. There are five minutes to find the odd figure in 20 given series, so there is time pressure as well.
  • This cut-e test focuses on categorisation and classification skills. The task is to discover the rules and interrelations defining two given groups of boards containing numbers and/or letters, and then to classify a newly given table into the right group. You are given 12 minutes to answer 12 questions, each comprising four tables to classify.
