Regardless of the role you are pursuing within the Disney company, the recruitment process will consist of several different stages. The common protocols for this process include phone screenings, pre-employment tests, assessment centres, and one-on-one interviews. Each stage can be found in more detail below:
The application process will need to be completed online from the Disney career website. Once you have selected a position or programme you will be given the option to apply directly from the jobs site or via Linkedin.
If your application, cover letter and CV happen to matched to the position or programme you have applied for, a member from the HR department will be in contact with you to participate in a phone interview.
Once you have successfully passed the initial phone screening, you may be invited to attend an assessment centre or assessment day with other qualifying candidates. During the Disney assessment centre you will likely participate in a variety of group activities, role-playing exercises, psychometric tests, and interviews.
Your face-to-face Disney interview or interviews will often be held during the assessment day. You will likely meet with one or more members of the Human Resources and management team.
The assessments that you will need to take and pass will vary upon the job title and job level. Your pre-hire test or tests will either be administered online or on-site during an assessment centre. The Disney online test and the exam you will be given during the assessment day are often identical so, preparing for one will, in turn, help you to prepare for the other.
The skill sets evaluated in the Disney entrance exam include:
|Numerical Reasoning||Verbal Reasoning|
|Abstract Reasoning||Situational Judgment|
|Personality Profile||Microsoft Excel|
One of the major tests during the Disney recruitment process is the personality test. This test will be used to evaluate a variety of key traits necessary to work for the Disney company. This test will measure both your Interpersonal skills and core performance qualities. Brushing up on all of the skills and qualities desired in a Disney employee will be one of your greatest precursors for successfully passing their hiring process.
