DILG PAPI3(Personality and Preference Inventory)-Style Test

The Perception and Preference Inventory (PAPI) is the personality test used by Cubiks. This inventory is based on Henry Murray’s theory of roles and needs. PAPI is comprised of 180 statements paired into 90 items: a forced choice format of pairs of statements where only one can be chosen as preferable.

DILG Cubiks General Advanced-Style Test

The Cubiks General advanced is divided into 3 sections:

Verbal- This 8-minute section is comprised of 12 questions. Candidates are given 4 roughly 200-word passages followed by 3 multiple-choice questions. These questions mostly focus on the main idea of the passage, assumptions and conclusions that can be drawn from the passage, and specific information that is provided throughout it. This ection assesses verbal reasoning abilities by reading, interpreting and applying information. This test is specifically developed for participants at managerial and graduate level, while the questions increase in difficulty throughout the test to single out top performers.

Numerical- This section has 8 numerical reasoning questions in 8 minutes. These numerical reasoning questions present data in the form of table and graphs.

Table and Graphs - These tests measure your ability of understanding numerical data including tables and figures as well as making deductions and analyses from the data. You may be presented with a table, some accompanying information and a question based on some or all of this information; you will have to choose the most appropriate answer from a list of answers.

Abstract- In the abstract section of the Logiks test, the examinee is asked to find the next image in a series of five images that all share a certain visual pattern. This pattern can be anything from an increasing number of lines, to a gradual movement of shapes, to a change in frequency of colors, etc. As some of these patterns are hard to spot immediately, the importance of practicing this type of questions cannot be overstated. Practicing will introduce you to the vast variety of visual patterns, and help you recognize them more quickly, since you will be skilled and experienced. This is especially important as the test only allows you four minutes to complete its ten questions.

DILG Interview Policy

DILG will most likely begin with a screening interview phone call. After seeing that your resume fits the bill, a representative will call you to ask a series of brief background and technical questions to further weed out unwanted candidates. The next stage will usually entail a sit-down face to face interview where you will be asked more in-depth questions on subjects not covered during the initial phone screening or written application. Be ready for curve ball questions and open-ended question that provide your interviewer with more background info. Feel free to ask your own follow up questions to gain clarity and better focus your remarks.

DILG Assessment Centre Objective

Assessment Centres have lately gained popularity in many countries as a more efficient way to select new employees. Many companies have come to believe that job candidates do not show their true personalities and professional qualities on tests and during interviews. More fully their professionalism is revealed in the Assessment Centre, where they are required to participate in numerous activities. Job candidates spend a day or even two days participating in group discussions, playing roles according to pre-given scenarios, making short presentations on different topics related to their jobs, engaging in social events and case studies. There is also testing in the Assessment Centre. Applicants take personality tests and various assessments evaluating their analytical skills, reading and numerical comprehension, and decision making, among other skills. Job events organized in the Assessment Centre are highly intense and may be stressful. Unsuccessful candidates are sent home after each stage of evaluation. Only few prospective employees are invited to have a conversation with a company’s high managers and become employed.

Once you have completed all of these steps, the company will contact you as to whether or not you will be offered the position.

What Happens at the DILG Assessment Centre?

The DILG assessment centre will either occur on site or in a rented venue. During your time at the assessment centre, you will be met with a number of group exercises, workplace simulations, assessment tests, and interviews.
