Chr. Hansen CEB SHL-Style Numerical Reasoning Tests

In this test, you will encounter numerical data in the form of a table or a graph, followed by multiple-choice questions relating to them. Answering the questions often requires you to show basic math aptitude and to perform calculations involving fractions, percentages, ratios, and conversions.


Chr. Hansen CEB SHL-Style Verbal Reasoning Tests

For the CEB SHL verbal test, you will read short passages of text and answer questions relating to each passage. Each question will require you to quickly evaluate whether a statement is true, false, or indeterminable based on the text.


Chr. Hansen CEB SHL-Style Logical Reasoning Tests

This is the most common type of logical reasoning test SHL offers, often delivered to candidates applying for graduate, managerial, and executive roles. On this test, you are presented with a series of five objects. Your task is to select the object that would come next in the series from the five available options (just like in the first example above). The test consists of 24 questions to be solved in 25 minutes. It is administered online at the beginning of the recruitment process, along with other CEB SHL-style Verify tests. If you pass the test, you are often invited to an assessment centre, where you are required to sit an additional, shorter verification test. This test is supervised and is designed to substantiate the integrity of your former results. It is, thus, important that you prepare for both tests.


Chr. Hansen Microsoft Office Tests

These tests are often part of the job recruitment process. They can be taken at any point in the process, although most candidates will take the Microsoft Word test during their interview. The Microsoft Word test measures your ability to complete tasks at various levels and is entirely interactive, attempting to simulate how Word is used in the workplace.


Chr. Hansen Situational Judgement Tests

There are typically between 25 – 50 scenarios on any given SJT. The scenarios are usually engaging and challenging. After you are presented with a scenario you will then have to either find the most (or least) suitable response to the scenario or rank/rate the responses in order of effectiveness.

When taking a personality test, your results may not always reflect your true self. You must keep in mind that a job personality test shows your work persona. The test is not about seeing personas that are revealed in family life or other contexts.
