About JobTestPrep’s Boral Talent Q-Style Packs

Boral Talent Q-Stye Elements and AspectsTest

There are two main sets of Talent Q tests. The higher level is known as Talent Q Elements. There are three different tests in this section, verbal, numerical, and logical. Although they can be split up depending on the wish on the employer, in general, they are administered together. In the lower level of tests, known as Talent Q Aspects, there is no logical reasoning test but rather a checking test as well as the verbal and numerical tests. In both Elements and Aspects you only have a short time period to complete the tests, typically about 10 minutes.


Boral SJT Test

The Boral Situational Judgement Test or SJT is used as a means to gauge your ability to approach real-life work conflicts and scenarios accordingly. You will be tasked with choosing the most and least effective responses, or to rank them in order based on their effectiveness. The Boral SJT will assess a number of invaluable workplace skills. This test is usually comprised of 100 or more questions which measure 32 specific traits.

 


Boral Personality Test

Boral deploy a personality test to better screen potential employees before you can sign on the dotted line. They want to know who will perform well and those who won't. It is important to note that you should answer each question truthfully and go with the first answer that comes to mind. Overthinking questions will throw you off, waste time and perhaps indicate to the recruiter that you are trying to game the system.


Boral Abstract Reasoning Online Assessments

The abstract reasoning test are also known as inductive or diagrammatic reasoning and assess general intellect rather than text book knowledge. When administering this test, Boral will be looking to see how you relate to new concepts and abstract ideas and can be used to asses a wide range of positions within the company. It is important to note that the SJT are usually not timed, it is important to answer them in a timely and accurate manner and watch for guidelines like “this question should take 10 minutes.”
