Beaverbrooks Thomas GIA-Style Tests

The GIA is an online test that consists of five different sections: Reasoning - This section measures your ability to make inferences and draw logical conclusions. You are given a statement describing the relationship between two individuals. You then need to answer a question that refers to this statement. Perceptual Speed - You are presented with pairs of uppercase and lowercase letters. Your task is to identify the number of pairs in which both letters are the same as quickly as possible. Number Speed and Accuracy - Each question includes a set of three numbers. You need to pick the number which is furthest away from the middle number out of the three. Spatial Visualisation - This is a mental-rotation test. In each question, there are two pairs of images rotated a different amount of degrees. You need to identify the pairs in which both images are the same (and not mirrored). Word Meaning - This is a verbal odd-one-out test. In each question, there are three words, two of which are similar in some way. Your task is to identify the third, unrelated word.

Beaverbrooks Personality Tests

As you begin planning your OVO Energy personality test, take some time to ponder the following questions:

  • Is the company suitable for you?
  • Is the position suitable for you?
  • Is this a position you truly want?

The personality test will provide your potential future employer with insights into how you work in groups, comply with rules, cope with stress and pressure, as well as your ability to solve problems and manage others in an effective manner. There is no right or wrong answer, however, your answers will indicate your levels of suitability for the position.

Beaverbrooks Assessment Centre Information

Aiming to hire the most professional and knowledgeable people, many employers consider interviewing job applicants an insufficient means of determining their suitability for a position. Even pre-employment testing, a popular way of sifting through job candidates, does not guarantee that the right person will be hired. What largely increases chances of weeding out wrong candidates is a combination of such tasks and activities as group discussions, presentations, role-playing, social events, case studies, and psychometric and various written tests. This combination is achieved at assessment centres that host pre-employment events to which prospective employees are invited to demonstrate their professional aptitude individually and in groups. The length of such pre-employment events at assessment centres varies from several hours to a couple of days. While performing different activities, job applicants are expected to show such traits as adaptability, analytical thinking, commercial awareness, creativity, leadership, and good time management. There is strict elimination at every stage of the assessment process, so not every job candidate arrives to the final interview with high managers that, if they are favorably impressed, may bring an invitation to become an employee in their organization.

How Are Beaverbrooks Tests Scored?

Beaverbrooks' aptitude tests are used as a means to measure your abilities in key areas for the position you are applying. These tests are generally scored based on the number of questions you have answered correctly. This score is then compared to other applicants against the average benchmark score.

What Types of Assessment Tests Can I Encounter in Beaverbrook's Hiring Process?

The number and the types of assessments depend on the role you are applying to. Typically, you should be prepared to complete numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning tests. Once you have successfully passed these assessments you can be requested to take a further test to verify your original result. This can be part of the final stage of your recruitment process. The key to achieving outstanding results in your tests is practice, practice and more practice. JobTestPrep Thomas GIA-Style Tests, study guides, score reports can make a real difference in your preparation process. Make the most of your time by utilizing our tailored Packs.
