Aurecon Revelian-Style Cognitive Ability Tests

The Revelian Cognitive Ability Test (formerly Onetest), also known as the RCAT, is a 51-question, 20-minute exam that consists of three types of questions: verbal, numerical, and logical/abstract reasoning. The questions on the test increase in difficulty as the test taker progresses. There is a broad range of question types and difficulty levels, meaning that this test is used to assess applicants for a wide variety of positions. Please bear in mind that this product refers to the Cognitive Ability Test, not Revelian's game-based test and cognify series.


Aurecon Situational Judgement Tests

There are typically between 25 – 50 scenarios on any given SJT. The scenarios are usually engaging and challenging. After you are presented with a scenario you will then have to either find the most (or least) suitable response to the scenario or rank/rate the responses in order of effectiveness.


Aurecon Personality Tests

When taking a personality test, your results may not always reflect your true self. You must keep in mind that a job personality test shows your work persona. The test is not about seeing personas that are revealed in family life or other contexts.


Aurecon Microsoft Excel Assessments

The Excel User Test enables employers to carefully assess a candidate's Microsoft Excel skills, as well as to decide if they are qualified for the offered position. There are typically between 10 and 25 questions per test.

The Aurecon assessment day is either a half day or full day event, depending on the role you have applied for. Your invitation to the assessment centre will list the types of activities you will have to complete as part of the day. These can be presentations, role-plays, interviews, case studies, and aptitude tests. Besides for the actual assessment you will also have the chance to meet employees of the company and assess the company culture.
