There are many interviews and steps you will have to take in order to become a team member with Apple. Once your CV and cover letter have been uploaded to Apple's website and your documents have been screened, you will be contacted by a Human Resources manager.
The phone interview will the first in a series of interviews conducted by Apple. This type of interview usually lasts between 10–30 minutes. During this phone interview, you will be asked questions regarding your education, working history, and career goals. If you are successful at the end, you will then be invited to come to the Apple assessment centre where you and other candidates will face a variety of tasks and additional interview.
Just as it sounds, video interviews are interviews via video. Employers will send you a link to an interview platform which contains pre-determined interview questions. Here, you will have a chance to briefly go over these questions before you record and submit your answer. This method of interviewing means that you will not have a chance to expand upon your answers or explain yourself further, so it's essential that your answers be spot-on although it may seem easier than a face-to-face interview.
The goal of these role play exercises is to see how you perform in the role you have applied for with particular emphasis on your demeanour throughout the exercise. Each company has different values and these are often the benchmark by which you are judged. In order to do well in an assessment centre role play exercise, you need to incorporate these values into your performance.
