## Prepare for the Aon Assessments with JobTestPrep

Aon is an insurance and brokerage consulting firm, offering many different types of graduate schemes and internships in the financial sector. For all of these early career options, the application process includes the same steps. Although the Aon application process has only a few stages, each one is of vital importance. Below you will find a guide to the Aon hiring process. Learn how to succeed with JobTestPrep.

## Aon Situational Judgement Test

The Aon Situational Judgement Test (or SJT) is designed to determine how would you perform under certain conditions. The Aon SJT gives you a number of realistic and challenging scenarios. You have to decide upon the most and least desirable course of action for each situation. It is critically important that you practice for these kinds of tests in order to create the right impression.

## Aon Numerical Reasoning Tests

The Aon Numerical Test is provided by cut-e. You are presented with a series of statistical tables and graphs that you have to analyse carefully. Using ratios, percentages, and other basic numerical calculation skills, you are required to answer the questions relating to the data. In general, there are multiple questions of varying difficulty that need to be completed in a given time. Given the complexity of the questions and the limited time, you need to work at a fast pace.

The Aon numerical test is designed to assess both your numerical skills in general, as well as using these skills under time constraints. To adequately prepare yourself for success with this type of test, the best way is through practice. Explore the practice tests with full explanations on our website.

## Aon Verbal Reasoning Tests

For the Cut-e verbal test, you will read short passages of text and answer questions relating to each passage. Each question will require you to quickly evaluate whether a statement is true, false, or indeterminable based on the text.

## Aon Microsoft Excel Assessment Test

Aon uses Microsoft Office assessments to test your proficiency in using Microsoft Word at various levels of difficulty. You will be tested in a variety of areas including basic formatting, creating tables, saving and printing properties.

The advanced level test requires you to master the different features of the software. Most of the questions will deal with formulas, macro creation, advanced formatting and document properties.

## Warm up for the Aon Test Online!

We have seen and walked through the entire Aon graduate scheme recruitment process and provided tips and suggestions to help you come through the process in the best possible way. As you continue throughout the recruitment process, keep a positive attitude and show the Aon assessors how knowledgeable you are about the company.

## Aon Interview

In this interview, you are assessed by two assessors, and it is both competency and motivational based. As well as the typical questions, there are often brain teasers posed as well such as "How many ties are being worn right now in the UK?” This question is really a test of your logical thinking skills; the answer will obviously depend on the time of day the question is being asked. Your aim is to demonstrate to the assessors you are motivated with a ‘get-up-and-go’ attitude. The interview is typically one hour in length.

## Aon Assessment Centre

After successfully passing the Aon aptitude tests, you will be asked to attend the Aon Assessment Centre. At the assessment centre, you are put through various tests. These tests include some group and individual exercises, which can be practised here at JobTestPrep.

The activities that you will face at the Aon assessment centre include:

### Short Presentation

A 3-minute pitch on why you should be considered for the job. This is essentially an opportunity for you to sell yourself. This is likely to be done in front of two assessors who ask you questions at the end of your pitch. Aon is looking for superb communication skills, so you want to make sure to express yourself clearly.

### Aon Group Exercise

The final part of the day normally includes a formal debate. This is essentially a group exercise. Your task is to prepare some material with your 'debating team' for 20 minutes. Assessors are looking for good teamwork skills at this point. Following this, you will then debate for around 50 minutes in front of a team of assessors, who decide the winning debating team. Your job in this exercise is to appear confident and be quick to adapt in a challenging environment, showing that you possess the key values of the company that we mentioned above. Again, communicating clearly and effectively is highly important here.

In addition to these tasks, you have an opportunity to meet other graduates who have recently joined Aon. Some senior partners may also come to the assessment centre to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have.

### How Can I Prepare for the Reasoning Tests?

The ultimate preparation to pass the Reasoning Tests is to practise. However, there are further factors that can enhance and speed up your preparation process. For this reason, JobTestPrep has created concise preparation packs that contain solving strategies, practice tips, and further tools designed by our specialist to help you gear up for the assessment. Start practising today with JobTestPrep.

### What Type of Questions Can I Expect on the SJT?

Job seekers often underestimate the importance of the SJT. During your testing, you will come across two type of questions, which are ranked items and multiple-choice answers. In the ranked questions, only the first answer has to be correct, while in the multiple-choice answers you might have to choose the best of all three. In the latter, all must be correct. The SJT is designed to bring your knowledge and skills out from the textbooks and into real work scenarios. Remember that the test grades both you aptitude and hands-on knowledge, so come prepared.

### What is the Numerical Reasoning Online Test?

The cut-e numerical test contains questions in a psychometric format that need to be completed in 25-35 minutes. In this test, you are presented with numerical data in the form of a table or a graph, followed by multiple-choice questions relating to them. Answering the questions often requires you to show basic maths aptitude and to perform calculations involving fractions, percentages, ratios, and conversions. The cut-e assessment score is comparative, relative to all the other candidates, and, as such, the scores are distributed in the bell-curve style. Only those candidates who assessment score in the highest percentile of the curve will move on to the next stage of the recruitment process.

### How Can JobTestPrep Help Me Prepare for My Aon Numerical Test?

JobTestPrep can help you prepare for your Aon Numerical test through the use of our comprehensive study guides, answer explanations, and answer keys. Our high-quality practice materials are sure to give you an advantage over the other candidates.

### What Should I Expect at the Aon Assessment Centre?

The Aon assessment centre may last for several hours. You and other candidates will be expected to participate in a number of group activities and simulations, as well as role-play exercises and face-to-face interviews. The purpose of the assessment centre is to not only evaluate your workplace competencies, but also your ability to cooperate with others.
