Diagrammatic reasoning tests, often confused with abstract reasoning and inductive reasoning tests, are aptitude tests administered by reputable assessment companies. Candidates applying to Spain's IE business school will also encounter these tests as part of the IE admission test. Unlike other popular non verbal reasoning tests, diagrammatic reasoning tests display a series of operators and their outputs. The candidate's task is to infer a set of rules and to apply them to new situations.
